Welcome to the Bedford Road Volunteer Fire Department Bedford Road Volunteer Fire Department, Station 3 is located on old 220 North near the Pennsylvania State line. An Engine, Squad, Tanker, Brush Unit, and EMS Utility protects our first due area as well as the surrounding jurisdictions. As any other rural department we are continually seeking members to help staff our station. We now offer Live-In facilities for College students who are EMT or Firefighter I Certified. We offer in house training as well as access to Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI) training. Interested persons are encouraged to visit or contact the station on Monday evenings, or email us with your interests via email.. To provide our emergency workers with the newest equipment, we host Bingo on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. With the assistance of other organizations our emergency providers are no longer required to work Bingo. Many thanks to the hard workers who support our department. Bedford Road VFD would like to thank the citizens we protect for their continued support. We also would like to thank our brothers and sisters from the surrounding departments for their continued assistance.
Bedford Road VFD expanded it's Sleeping Quarters to include a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, wireless internet, and laundry facilities. We are located minutes from Allegany College and Frostburg State University. Perfect location with little distraction! |
